My 1982 Porsche 928 S
The model Tom Cruise drove off a pier in Risky Business. The U-boat.

A little History: The Porsche 928 S, was a Grand Tourer class, 2 door Sports coupe, manufactured
and assembled in Stuttgart, Germany between 1977 and 1995. it was originally intended to replace
the Porsche 911, but die-hard porsche 911 fans never really took to it. It was one of six front-engined
Porsche designs but with a V8, instead of the usual V6. This one has a 4.7 Liter V8, with a 3 speed
Automatic Tranny. In 1983, the Porsche 928S was the fastest car sold in North America (146 mph)

I bought this 1982 Porsche 928 S, from a guy in San Francisco who had it parked on his driveway for a few
years. I've always liked the shape of the 928. I had a Hotwheels toy car model of it when I was a kid
and really dug the rear curve and spaceship like front. Anyways, it was cheap and all the electricals worked,
so that was a major plus. It's the same model Porsche that Tom Cruise had in the 80's movie 'Risky Business'.

The Interior needs a lot of love and care, mainly because it was a victim of 1980's car design, a flaw in itself. LOL.
Too much plastic and shag carpet everywhere. I need to leather-ize it and make a few minor changes. The exterior
has some body damage and needs paint. I also, fixed it for smog and put in a new alternator and a new battery.
Runs great now. Oh well, onward... have a look at the before and after pictures below.

You can see the Viper and Stingray in the background.

I miss that ass.

I bought it cheap and repaired/cleaned it up.
